ChronoPay Teams With Trusted Shops

By Jason Lee Miller

European online retailers will be able to reassure shoppers of the safety of making purchases with them through the EU-backed Trusted Shops "Seal of Approval" for online retailers, formed through a partnership with online payment service ChronoPay.

When making an online purchase, the Seal of Approval will serve as an indicator to consumers that they are insured of a money-back guarantee, covered against non-delivery and non-refund of online purchases, provided mediation of disputes between consumer and retailer, among other services and warranties.

The Trusted Shops system focuses primarily on the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, and is growing to include other countries. Over 1,400 Internet retailers operate under the Trusted Shops security standard.

Amsterdam-based ChronoPay is working with Trusted Shops to increase the number of certified sites, provide transaction and fraud oversight, and to help promote the safe online shopping initiative.

"Our Alliance with Trusted Shops offers a tremendous opportunity for ChronoPay to advance those goals by promoting the Trusted Shops Seal of Approval program to our Merchants", said Ivan Glazachev, ChronoPay's Director of Business Development."

ChronoPay is a multicurrency payment company accepting all major debit and credit cards and transactions in US Dollars, Euros and some other major currencies. Only open EU businesses, has gained a reputation for its always open technical support and member shopping carts.

"What makes it a little unique from others is that it is integrated with major European banks, processors and service members, and therefore, emerges as an excellent gateway for online sellers," said Internet Merchant's Guide.
