More and more, people are using multiple words when they perform Internet searches. The frequency of single word searches has reduced significantly.
According to a report from OneStat.com, 32.58% of Internet searches are being done with two words. The percentage of one-word queries is 19.02%. Last year, as reported by eMarketer.com, single word searches accounted for 24.76% of searches.
In the latest report, 3 word searches accounted for 25.61% of searches initiated.
